Development of Mathematical Model for Percentage of Elongation of TIG Welded Duplex Stainless Steel

Quality strongly depends on good mechanical properties of any manufacturing material. Similarly, quality Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) welding Duplex Stainless Steel (DSS) like percentage elongation, ultimate tensile strength etc. Better Percentage Elongation (PE) is produced using proper parameters and their values at the time TIG welding. In this study, has been done ASTM/UNS 2205 duplex stainless steel materials. A new mathematical model developed non-linear regression analysis for prediction elongation. The variables used in models are selected current, gas flow rate speed residual plot PE to validate model. Calculation deviation made. Comparison measured predicted value by graphical representation. relationship between elongation illustrated graphically surface plots contour as well. Combined effects pair input represented with help three-dimensional plots. According analysis, provide data study.
